GTbyCITROËN Concept Takes Vacation Along Gran Turismo 5 London Course
If you’ve ever been to London, you’ll recognize every place in this photoset, taken when the GTbyCITROËN concept car hit the streets recreating a course from Gran Turismo 5 and generally doing the tourist thing.
The GTbyCITROËN is the sting ray inspired stunner which debuted at the Paris Motor Show after its digital unveil as a car in Playstation’s Gran Turismo 5. It made the rounds at all the famous London hot spots like any tourist does, and no-doubt got stuck in the hideous central London traffic. The car will be making its formal UK debut this weekend when it takes a spin at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, also known as this weekends happiest place on Earth.

The almost impossibly long and low GTbyCITROËN, which started life as a concept car for the wildly popular Gran Turismo gaming franchise (part of Polyphony Digital Inc.
In early 2007, Urban Aeronautics announced it’d have an “air jeep” flying car dubbed the X-Hawk ready for flight by 2009. The future’s now, and while the X-Hawk isn’t quite ready, the test mule almost is, and this is it.

Setting the Challenger and 300 aside, what Chrysler needs now most of all is a C/D segment car that moves more metal than the pitiful performance of its current offerings.
Mercedes-Benz has pioneered some advanced safety technologies in its time. This week, the automaker introduced the ESF 2009, a concept car built to illustrate some ideas to protect drivers and pedestrians.
